Stella Airoldi runs a social business and foundation, while living all over the world. Stella used to be a big study nerd and has hence two Masters (one in Public International Law and another one in Human Rights and Democratization). Once she left her books behind to explore the real world, she worked in several development organizations around the world. Soon she realized that she wanted to be able to work location independent from anywhere and not been told where to move next. Her biggest take-away from her travels has been that the best way to help people out of poverty is by making sure that they can provide for themselves. Hence in 2012 Stella founded together with her two Ugandan friends Susan Laker and Aidah Wafula 22STARS Jewellery: an online webshop selling handmade products from recycled paper that bring people out of poverty and in 2017 they founded the 22STARS Foundation which additionally created 420 school sponsorships for children in Uganda. The focus lies on Education, Local Leadership and Entrepreneurship!
Along the way Stella started to speak at several events and has been hosting 10 Social Impact Trips to Uganda; sharing her experiences and inspiring people worldwide to think about their social impact!
