With two Master’s degrees, in International Law and Politics, and a background in international development, she combines academic insight with real-world experience. Since 2013, she has been leading a nomadic lifestyle that allows her to manage her social businesses while connecting deeply with people and cultures everywhere.

    Through her initiative Social Impact Nomads, Stella also organizes transformative trips to Uganda, blending travel, culture, and purpose. So far, she has hosted 25+ Social Impact Trips, helping people from around the world experience meaningful change firsthand.

    Hi! I am Stella, the founder of the 22STARS recycled paper Jewellery Business and later on the 22STARS Foundation that I set up with my two Ugandan friends Aidah Wafula and Susan Laker. Together we are empowering 460+ families in Uganda! When I started to help Aidah and Susan out in 2013, by becoming their sales rep, helping with designs and setting up an Online Webshop to sell the jewellery worldwide, I had many challenges to overcome. Firstly I was not surrounded with like-minded people who understood what setting up an online business means, secondly I missed a lot of personal guidance how to set up a good brand and ensure quality. You don't have to go the same path as me. The last 8 years I gathered tons of experiences, resources, tools and inspiration from books and people that made my life easier. And on top of that I gathered a huge network with like-minded people -mostly online entrepreneurs and non-profit founders as well - who gave me full support. I have put all my knowledge together and I am here today, ready to share my knowledge on stage with a larger audience and ready to help you in creating a social impact while also making money to sustain yourself.
